Putting it very simply, our cows have been raised on grass their entire lives. Typically, beef in the supply chain are born on a farm and than transported to a feedlot where they are fed grains to hasten the time it takes to put on weight.

Beef that is grass fed and finished has several health benefits over grain-finished beef; including lower calories, higher levels of omega 3 fatty acids, higher levels of conjugated linoleic acid, and higher levels of vitamins A and E.

Bovaer is a feed additive that is said to reduce the amount of methane produced by cows and other ruminant animals.

At Jarabin, all of our cattle are grass fed and finished, this means NO chemicals or additives that have unknown long term health impacts. We truly believe in raising cattle the way they have been for centuries, and this means free of any additives in their diets.

If your location happens to be within an apartment complex, kindly provide us with the the essential details so that our delivery company can easily identify the location and/or the safest place to leave your delivery.

When you confirm your order, you'll have the option to leave delivery instructions for the driver so they can leave your box in a safe place.

After your box is carefully packed, it leaves our farm and is delivered by Safe Food Accredited refrigerated transport.

Your order is packed within insulated packaging, including environmentally friendly gel ice bricks which can be re-used many times. Just pop them in your freezer!

You are always welcome to come and pick up your orders from our farm - we would love to see you here!

Once your order is packaged, you will receive an email with the pick up date. Generally speaking, this will be the second Saturday of each month.

Yes, absolutely! All our boxes and insulation is 100% recyclable with carbon-neutral products to be exact!

We have partnered with companies that share our values. A big part of that is ensuring our packaging has minimal impact on the environment. Our boxes and cool pouches are recyclable, and environmentally friendly. Our gel packs and vacuum sealed packaging can also be recycled and re-used.

To help cover our delivery costs, there is a $19.99 fee for orders up to $199. For orders $200+ the delivery is on us!

If you prefer, you’re always welcome to collect your order directly from the Jarabin farm at no extra charge.

Yes, you will receive both text and email confirmation once your box has been delivered.

You can also track your delivery online, details will be provided in your order shipping confirmation email.

Your meat will arrive chilled. You don't need to be home for delivery - we package orders with environmentally friendly insulation and gel packs to ensure they arrive at an optimal temperature. Preferably, the box should not remain outside longer than 4 hours after delivery. We’d recommend you retrieve & put the meat contents into either a freezer or refrigerator as soon as possible.
